No matter who you are or where you come from. Whether you volunteer, walk, jog or run you are welcomed with open arms at parkrun. A vision that was and is very much alive and kicking, running... and walking!
Nearly 900,000 different people have walked at parkrun, with more than 13,000 people walking every single week. With no time limit, thousands take over an hour to complete parkrun and, in South Africa, almost 30% of those completing the event each week are walkers. Walking is a great way of soaking up the parkrun atmosphere, giving the opportunity to chat with people whilst being active and acting as something that whole families or friendship groups can do together. It is also one of the best entry points into parkrun, allowing those who may be taking their first steps towards a healthier and happier lifestyle the option to take part. Walk at any pace, alone or with others. Bring a dog or a buggy and even walking poles if you have them. Walking can help you manage or prevent health conditions, enhance your mood, boost fitness and bring you into contact with some amazing places and people. Vitality are proud to partner with parkrun, and the two have come together to create this limited edition parkwalk Performance tee. As a little extra reward for getting active outdoors, Vitality will award Vitality points every time you run or volunteer with your local parkrun.
This lightweight Performance tee has been constructed using moisture-wicking fabric that has been designed to keep you feeling cool, dry and comfortable throughout your parkwalk. A crew neck construction sits comfortably against the skin and gives a classic style to the tee. A parkwalk x Vitality lock up logo features on the front to showcase their partnership, and a 'LET'S WALK' graphic is displayed across the back, signalling support for the walkers at parkrun events. Lastly, the Performance tee is finished with Vitality's signature pink colour so you can stand out in style.
