Engineered Mesh Upper
Optimising in-shoe comfort, and providing an enjoyable wearing experience, the upper of the Deviate Nitro 3 Fade is made from an engineered mesh, a breathable, lightweight material. Strategically placed perforations surround feet with a constant supply of airflow, ensuring they remain cool and feeling fresh, especially when things begin to heat up. The materials have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of moisture and sweat, allowing feet to remain dry during the intense periods of your running endeavours. Constructed using at least 20% recycled materials, the materials work to ensure feet remain lightweight and cool, whilst remaining eco-friendly for a pair of shoes you can rely on. A rolled collar and plush, cushioned tongue provide you step in comfort, and prevent irritation during running. Working alongside this, the traditional lace-up system provides feet with a locked-in fit and feel, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring. Finally, the shoes have heel reflectivity to enhance visibility when training in low-light conditions.
NITROFOAM Midsole
Using Puma's nitrogen-infused thermoplastic foam, the Deviate Nitro 3 Fade utilises a NITROFOAM midsole. NITROFOAM is an extremely lightweight, highly responsive cushioning. By infusing nitrogen into their foams, Puma has expanded the midsole, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable compound for feet to land. The foam enhances forward propulsion, helping you to hit those PBs, as well as absorbing impact, to reduce the stress on your joint and the risks of injury or discomfort when running. The shoes use NITROFOAM for explosive energy return, adding a spring to your step and ensuring soft cushioning underfoot. A PWRPLATE carbon-fibre plate is also used underfoot to provide powerful propulsion and elite efficiency. The PWRPLATE has been designed to enhance stability and provide maximum energy transfer at toe-off.

Constructed from a durable rubber compound, the Deviate Nitro 3s feature a PUMAGRIP outsole, providing high durability and superior levels of grip and traction, to keep you secure underfoot. Providing a grip with the ground below, the rubber has been strategically placed for multi-surface traction underfoot, even when the ground is wet so that you remain focused on the road ahead.
