Deviate 4 isn't just fast - it's too fast. 15g lighter than its predecessor, this high-performance shoe is built for runners who refuse to slow down.
With enhanced breathability, the Puma Deviate Nitro 4 ensures fresh comfort for all runs. The mesh consists of evenly spread perforations throughout to allow better airflow around the foot, with warm air escaping, to allow cool, fresh air to circulate. The material's structure is also highly durable to withstand longer miles, while protecting your feet from possible bumps. The flat-laying tongue and collar provide a close-to-the-foot fit, for a second skin feel and minimising rubbing and irritation. To complete the upper is the traditional lacing system that sits on the tongue; this ensures complete midfoot lockdown for a secure and immovable fit, keeping you feeling supported from start to finish.
Providing plush cushioning underfoot, Puma's NITROFOAM technology amplifies comfort underfoot. The nitrogen-infused foam is super lightweight while keeping feet engulfed in a soft platform. This shields your joints from possible injury as you cover hard surfaces, with the foam effectively absorbing the shock from below before releasing the built-up energy in the following strides and propelling you forward. To add a snappy edge, a PWRPLATE embedded in the foam, this full-length carbon composite helps further boost your run while providing great stability and support to the base of your foot. When combined with the foam, the plate ensures smooth heel-to-toe transitions, guiding you smoothly through your gait cycle, promoting better running habits and stronger finishes.
Offering great traction over a range of surfaces, the PUMAGRIP outsole keeps you confident in your footing. The rubber has been focused on the forefoot and heel, missing the midfoot for a lighter weight option, while offering complete grip in high-impact areas of the outsole. The sticky grip keeps you stuck to the ground, whether on dry pavements or rain-slicked roads, your stride will not falter.
