Breathable Upper
The upper of the High Jump Nitro is lightweight and breathable for enjoyable wear. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, helping heat to escape and in turn allowing cool freshness to enter, reducing fatigue and boosting motivation to push onwards. Traditional lacing system has been utilised, effectively locking the midfoot in place for a secure fit, this is complimented by the extra strap that lays over the laces to prevent distractions.
Nitro Elite Foam and 11 Spike Configuration
The midsole of the High Jump Nitro features Puma's premium performance Nitrofoam Elite foam, which uses the most cutting-edge materials for high energy return and cushioning at a lighter weight. The foam is cleverly infused with nitrogen, expanding the foam for an ultra-bouncy underfoot experience. The light and springy midsole compound supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you hit top speed before jumping. Designed for jumpers looking for maximum flexion and support through the run-up phase to the take off in their respective events. Completing the spikes is a full-length plate that includes a textured surface to increase grip in both the heel and forefoot area for maximum speed and ultimate propulsion. The plate's design uses eleven changeable spike pin receptacles that are strategically placed. The spikes are teamed with a 360-degree, wrapped-up Sharkskin outsole material that provides durability and traction, so you can be sure you have a strong footing when on the track.
