Puma Velocity Nitro 5 GORE-TEX Women's Running Shoes

Embark on your running journey with the Velocity Nitro 5 GORE-TEX. Sleek styling, outstanding comfort, and a slightly higher stack height make it the ideal do-it-all trainer.

GORE-TEX Invisible Fit Upper

Providing your feet with a constant supply of cool air and exceptional waterproof protection, the Puma Velocity Nitro 5 GORE-TEX Shoes utilise a breathable mesh and GORE-TEX upper. For optimum airflow and a cool, fresh sensation, the uppers allow constant fresh air to travel freely through the materials for a comfortable experience. The GORE-TEX materials work with this to provide optimum protection in wet conditions by protecting your feet from rain or moisture in poor, changing weather. This follows an invisible fit, ensuring a lightweight and flexible feel against the foot. Guaranteeing dry protection, sweat is still able to escape easily out of the shoe to ensure comfort. Finally, a traditional lacing system has been utilised to effectively lock the midfoot into place for a secure and distraction-free wear.

NITROFOAM Midsole

The Velocity Nitro 5 utilises a NITROFOAM midsole to deliver lightweight cushioning and maximum energy return. This innovative foam technology is a lightweight, springy foam constructed from nitrogen-infused advanced TPU, providing high energy return and responsiveness. By infusing nitrogen into the foam, Puma has expanded its midsoles, resulting in exceptional underfoot comfort and maximum propulsion with each stride. This enables you to run further and faster with ease. The foam not only aids in propelling you forward and helping you achieve personal bests, but it also absorbs shock and mitigates negative impact forces when you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces, reducing stress on your joints and lowering the risk of injury.

PUMAGRIP Outsole

Finishing the shoes, Puma have used their PUMAGRIP rubber compound in the outsole construction, which combines superior traction with durability. Strategically placed, the rubber forms a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, even when wet or dry, giving you the confidence to run whatever the weather. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base to push off from, allowing for a more efficient gait cycle.
