Take shelter when a storm rolls in mid-ascent with this highly stashable, protective waterproof jacket, ideal for alpine climbing in mixed conditions.
From alpine linkups to exposed ridges, this exceptionally packable waterproof jacket is made for your tough ascents in fickle conditions. All its features have been designed to reduce bulk and weight, so it's easy to stash when clouds clear, and with 3-layer Pertex Shield, it offers uncompromised wind and waterproof protection when a storm strikes mid-climb. A PFA-free DWR further keeps off the rain. With ascent-specific articulation, it's the ideal retreat for alpine climbing, yet it also offers enduring comfort on any technical mountain pursuit in unpredictable weather, whether you're fast hiking or negotiating knife-edge ridgelines. The jacket is equipped for alpine weather with an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood and robust peak. A 2-way YKK AquaGuard VISLON front zip with internal storm guard makes on/off easy and keeps weather on the outside of the jacket, whilst lightweight pit zips allow airflow to keep you cool on the ascent. One harness-friendly chest pocket provides secure storage on the move without extra bulk. The extended, slimmed-down cuffs give extra coverage and are easily packable. Finally, you can adjust the fit via the dual-sided rear hem single-handed adjustment point.
