Ideal for summer alpine adventures, the Rab Calient Shorts are perfect for use in warmer conditions due to their water-resistant and quick-drying nature. Crafted with lightweight Matrix plain weave fabric that has been DWR treated, developed to repel water during light showers; great for outdoor summer use. As an addition to the DWR treatment, the Matric fabric also protects you with the inclusion of UPF 30+ which reduces the amount of ultraviolet radiation that penetrates through the fabric to your skin, thus, reducing your exposure risk to UV significantly. The shorts have a slim-fit design for stylish comfort wear constructed with a double snap waistband closure and zip fly for a secure fit. Also included, is a removable 25mm webbing belt with a low profile buckle allowing you to have a more personalised secure fit, as well as the addition of extra belt loops so you can swap out and use your own belt if desired. Secure storage is provided through zipped pockets. One of the pockets is located on the thigh as well as two hand pockets at each side of the shorts; ideal for carrying small essentials on your hike. Perfect for taking on your travels these shorts can be packed neatly within themselves as the left-hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack; for ideal storage when not in use.
