Rab Mythic Alpine Light Men's Down Jacket

Ultralight, low-bulk insulation for all winter mountain adventures, from mixed climbing and alpinism to ski touring and mountaineering. This hybrid down and synthetic insulated jacket is breathable, robust, and packs down small.

The lightest jacket in Rab's Mythic series, the Mythic Alpine Light slashes the weight, however, maximises warmth with body-mapped insulation and an ultra-light construction. The jacket has down-filled baffles, which have been centred around the core, whilst resilient synthetic insulation on the sides, cuffs, shoulders and base of the hood has exceptional breathability to keep you comfortable. Not only this but these areas also work to wick moisture from the surface of your skin, therefore further allowing you to remain dry. These properties mean you're bound to remain warm and cosy, making it a great garment for chilly outdoor adventures. Additionally, the jacket utilises exceptional 900FP down and PrimaLoft Gold, meaning you get the best possible insulation available, providing incredible warmth for the weight and bulk. Further keeping weight at the minimum, the jacket utilises ultralight 10D outer fabric, which is also 100% recycled. The Pertex Quantum fabric has built-in ripstop, which is strong, durable, weather-protective and feels wonderfully soft to the touch. The lightweight stitch-through construction allows you to have optimum mobility, alongside the pre-curved and articulated sleeves giving you an improved fit and the ability to move comfortably. The garment is very easy to layer up or can be stowed away into the provided stuff sack when it's no longer needed, due to its lightweight construction.

To keep you protected from changing conditions, the integrated hood is synthetic-filled and has a part-elasticated opening with a stiffened peak for exceptional coverage and warmth. Providing you with easy access in and out of the Mythic Alpine, there is a lightweight YKK centre front zip with a fleece-lined chin guard for comfort, which can be doubled up as an airflow control system to keep you cool or warm depending on the conditions. Two YKK zipped, concealed hand pockets give you easy access storage compartments, so you can keep essentials safe. The jacket also has a lightweight single-sided rear hem adjustment with an anti-snag tether for the perfect fit, with the ability to prevent windchill from occurring.
