Waterproof, windproof and reliably breathable, it endures scrapes with rock and ice and withstands the abrasion of a fully loaded pack. The helmet-compatible hood (with stiffened and flexible polymer peak) provides extra coverage and adjusts at the crown, face and collar for the perfect fit, offering easy head turn and unrestricted vision. Two-way, fully venting pit zips allow you to adjust the airflow with ease and the sleeves are articulated to give you total freedom when swinging ice tools and making big reaches. Keep the elements at bay with the dual-sided rear hem adjustment, which can be adjusted with a single hand and the extended, shaped cuffs with hook-and-loop adjustment help further seal in cosiness and make for a seamless fit with gloves. Further keeping the cold and wet on the correct side of the jacket is a two-way YKK VISLON AquaGuard centre-front zip with a lower snap fastener and a fleece-lined chin guard for comfort. A built-in RECCO reflector assists with location in emergency situations.
