The Outpost Jacket makes a great midlayer or everyday fleece throughout the colder months. Made with shearling-style, high-pile Polartec 300, it's warm and breathable. The high-stretch, double-weave Matrix overlays give added protection across the shoulders, resisting light rain, snow, and abrasion from backpack straps.
Rab's vintage-style Outpost Jacket is built from deep-pile Polartec 300 Classic for effective insulation, even in extreme cold. Polartec utilises premium polyester yarns for their hydrophobic properties, which repel moisture and accelerate drying times. The lofted structure of Polartec 300 fleece creates thermal air pockets that retain warmth while allowing for optimal breathability. Soft and warm, Polartec fleece is versatile and dependable. The jacket also comes with high-stretch double-weave Matrix overlays for added protection across the shoulder and chest without any impact on breathability. A lightweight YKK VISLON centre front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off, and comes with a roll-over chin guard to prevent the zip from irritating. The set-in sleeve construction allows for a full range of movement, without restrictions holding you back. Two zippered hand pockets offer ample space to store your essential items or a refuge for your hands when the temperature drops. The weather-protective panels increase durability and help to shed off light rain, and lastly, elasticated binding at the cuffs and hem provides a close fit to prevent wind chill from entering and enhance comfort.
