Rab has taken their bestselling lightweight down jacket, and super-charged it with added wind resistance provided by WINDSTOPPER Products by GORE-TEX LABS. Warm, impressively windproof, yet breathable, it's a go-to insulated jacket for year-round mountain use.
The Microlight Windstopper Down jacket from Rab retains the versatile, easy-pack insulation of the classic jackets. A Pertex Quantum ripstop nylon fabric with DWR lining makes the shell of this garment packable, whilst being soft against the skin. The combination of zoned micro and nano baffles increases the jacket's warmth without compromising weight, leaving you feeling warm and toasty even when temperatures drop. The jacket uses GORE-TEX Windstopper fabric to make it windproof, while still delivering maximum breathability. No matter how windy it gets, you can rely on the fabric to keep you warm and comfortable for longer days in the mountains, hiking, walking or mountaineering. Ensuring the jacket meets Rab's ethics, it uses 700-Fill Power European goose down with a Grangers fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish to provide exceptional warmth. The full-length zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to help control ventilation. A cosy, down-filled, helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak offers additional protection, and the adjustable drawcord hem allows alterations for a more personal fit. Two hand and one chest pocket offer ample space to store your essentials, and lastly, the stretch cuffs sit close to the wrists to seal in the warmth.
