When you're moving through wild winds and relentless rain, the Rab Boonie Shield Hat is built to keep your head dry and your mind focused.
Combining the classic Boonie Shield design from Rab with 3-layer Pertex Shield fabric, this hat is waterproof with the ability to deflect heavy downpours, ideal for hiking and exploring in changing weather. The brim has reinforcements, ensuring it stays firm against heavy rain and resists flapping in winds, making the hat a perfect replacement for your hood, providing 360-degree protection. To ensure the hat stays in place, a drawcord chin strap has been added that is simple to tighten and loosen while on the move. Finally, when not in use, the hat can be stashed away with ease.
