Rab Firewall Guide Waterproof Women's Jacket

From the relentless force of a Scottish winter to the unexpected onset of an alpine storm, the Firewall Guide waterproof jacket is built to weather anything the mountains put in your path. Armed with 40D, three-layer Pertex Shield, it offers guides and dedicated alpinists the day-in, day-out durability and unyielding protection they need on weather-beaten climbs.

Providing you with an exceptional layer of protection and comfort, the Rab Firewall Guide Jacket is a great companion for all your outdoor adventures. Utilising a 3-layer Pertex fabrication and a DWR coating, the jacket has exceptional waterproof properties to ensure you remain dry during your journey. With a helmet-compatible hood and two-way AquaGuard YKK front zip, it's equipped for tackling challenging terrain. The hood can be cinched in quickly using the three-way, one-handed adjustment when you're negotiating ropes or tricky terrain. Its protective stiff peak is designed to keep the rain off your face and moves easily with your head for optimal visibility. The full-length zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can be used to help control ventilation. Additionally, articulated sleeves allow for a full range of mobility, without restrictions holding you back, allowing you to reach upwards and swing ice tools. The two-way underarm pit zips keep the air flowing when you're working hard - keeping you feeling dry and cool - while the glove-friendly hook-and-loop cuff adjustments and dual-sided hem adjustment enable you to alter the fit to a more personal one, helping to keep wind chill out. Ample storage is provided thanks to the four harness- and pack-compatible external pockets, ensuring you have access to your items while wearing a harness or backpack. Further storage options include an internal zippered security pocket for your more valuable items and an inner stuff pocket which enables you to pack the jacket in when not in use for easy transportation. Completing the jacket is a built-in RECCO reflector that assists with location in emergency situations.
