The Solar 2 is practical for both late-season forays in the hills and summer nights out with the family. Stratus Insulation is high-performing, synthetic insulation that has been developed by Rab and is included in the construction of the Solar 2. This soft polyester insulation is designed to trap the maximum amount of air possible and offers you superior amounts of warmth-to-weight ratio. Stratus retain warmth even when it gets wet, and will also dry quickly, therefore offering fantastic insulation in wet and cold conditions. The sleeping bag comes with a 20D polyester construction making it easy to pack away, and a 3D collar assists in keeping drafts and cold out. An angled foot box further assists in keeping your feet warm, whilst still allowing movement inside the bag. Further ensuring the bag is user-friendly, the Solar 2 features a highly flexible 3/4 length YKK coiled zip with insulating baffle and anti-snag guard for keeping you cosy and warm, plus a secure internal stash pocket for storing essentials. The sleeping bag also comes with a handy stuff sack, making it the ideal 'stash and go' companion for all your recreational adventures.
