Well suited to multi-day treks and summer mountaineering, the Alpine Pro 400 is a mid-weight down-filled sleeping bag that expertly balances warmth, weight and comfort.
Versatile and rugged, the Alpine Pro 400 offers protection and warmth in cool conditions. The sleeping bag has a mummy taper shape which is roomy and comfortable, with an angled foot box that keeps your feet warm yet still allows for movement. Alongside this, the bag also has an optimised box wall height within the chambers, which all work to ensure better down lofting to maximum warmth. The Alpine Pro 400 utilises Pertex Quantum Pro through the construction, therefore providing you with a durable and water-resistant product. Pertex Quantum Pro fabrics use an ultra-thin water-resistant coating to provide an increased level of protection during rough conditions. This fabric combines a tightly woven face fabric with a microporous coating, making it ideal for use in cold or damp environments, due to its soft and breathable nature. An insulating internal 3D collar is also provided within the construction of the sleeping bag, and with this is a hood drawcord, allowing you to keep out cold drafts. A 3/4 length YKK zip with an anti-snag bonded zip guard allows you to get in and out of the bag easier, whilst also preventing windchill from entering. The Alpine Pro 400 also features a handy internal stash pocket for storing essentials, a stuff sack for transportation and a cotton sack for storing.
