Made to the same exacting standards as standard Rocktape with one critical difference; twice as much glue to give the ultimate hold even in the toughest conditions. Originally developed with swimmers and watersports enthusiasts in mind, it is also great for taping tricky areas like the foot, ankle and hand.
Rocktape Kinesiology Support Tape is designed to improve the body's natural healing process by increasing blood flow around the muscle. It microscopically lifts the skin away from the muscle and fascia, decompressing the area and promoting blood flow. Rocktape also signals the central nervous system through the skin's nerves, which provides powerful feedback to minimise pain and cue form.
It relaxes overused and tired muscles and supports muscles in motion. Its self-adhesive wave pattern allows unrestrictive motion and moves with the skin and muscles. The tape is water-resistant, breathable and may be worn between 3-5 days.
Rocktape Kinesiology tape uses a sticky hypoallergenic adhesive that won't fall off during movement and exercise. The tape's unique, strong adhesive allows it to stay on longer, even under the toughest conditions. This makes it an ideal athletic tape for high-performance athletes and those competing in extreme sports. Put simply Rocktape is kinesiology tape evolved. When manufacturing Rocktape, the fabric is weaved so it stretches in one direction and not the other, mimicking the mechanical properties of collagen and muscle fibres. Compared with standard kinesiology tape, Rocktape has almost twice the elasticity. It also features a 180% stretch, ensuring the same elasticity as skin and promotes a full range of motion in all directions.
Be warned though the extra glue means removing this tape is a little more painful and it won't leave many hairs behind.
