Offering Advancedskin DRY 20k/20k technology, this jacket has the ability to provide extreme weather protection from the outside, whilst reducing condensation build-up on the inside. It allow air to pass through the membrane, allowing moisture vapour to escape and keep you cool and comfortable at all times. A waterproof and windproof membrane provides all-weather protection, combined with a water repellent coating, the Outline Jacket sheds wind rain and snow with ease. AdvancedSkin Dry protects against all elements (wind, rain, and snow) whilst keeping you comfortable and dry; wicking sweat and moisture away from the skin and allowing you to focus on going the distance. Advanced skin DRY provides 20k waterproofness and 20k breathability to ensure maximum comfort throughout your chosen activity. The 2.5 layer fabric and membrane are bonded together to protect the membrane and reduce overall weight so you can remain as lightweight as possible as you explore the outdoors.

An active is close fitting without restricting movement; the fit allows a superb range of motion during high-intensity activities and allows you to comfortably layer without any unnecessary bulk. To ensure added protection, the jacket also feature a smart hood. The minimally constructed hood fits around your face without the need of drawcords or pullers so you can find a comfortable and secure fit that will protect you from the elements. The cuffs and hem are partly elasticated to provide a stay-put fit plus they work to seal in escaping heat so you'll always remain comfortable and warm. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. As well as this, a smart closure at the neckline allows you to keep the jacket in place when its unzipped. Two large front pockets allow you to store your essential items and are backpack compatible meaning they won't interfere with your pack. Completing the Salomon Outline Jacket are reflective branding which works to increase your visibility to passing vehicles on late night adventures.
