Salomon S/LAB Spectur Men's Running Shoes

Introducing the S/LAB Spectur - your high-performance race-day companion. This shoe offers the same benefits elite-level marathon runners enjoy, with premium materials and advanced technologies. Designed for middle-of-the-pack runners with a training plan and performance goals, the S/LAB Spectur is not just another training shoe, but a race-day shoe to help you achieve your new personal record.

Mesh Upper

To ensure optimised in-shoe comfort, and running confidence, the S/LAB Spectur utilises a breathable mesh upper. The uppers feature strategically placed perforations providing feet with a constant supply of cool, fresh air, which surrounds your feet, keeping them cool and comfortable, even during the hardest periods of your race or run. With moisture-wicking properties the shoes prevent an uncomfortable build-up of sweat or moisture, ensuring feet remain dry and comfortable during the hot and intense sessions. The uppers feature more padding than an elite runners racing shoe, because most runners spend a lot more time in their shoes, therefore ensuring you remain comfortable throughout those marathons and long running adventures. Simultaneously this extra padding provides feet with optimum levels of comfort and in-shoe protection, including the prevention of irritations and abrasions during wear. The flexibility of the uppers allows your feet to move more naturally and comfortably, for an excellent wearing experience. Finally, the shoes utilise a traditional lace-up system, which works with the plush tongue, to provide a locked-in, secure fit and prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

energyFOAM+ Midsole

Featuring two layers of plush foam throughout, the S/LAB Spectur midsole delivers you optimised and fluid transitions. On the top layer is an energyFOAM+ compound which is constructed using PEBA materials and delivers enhanced energy return, an unrivalled level of cushioning, as well as, bouncy responsiveness to keep your legs feeling fresh. Alongside this, the enhanced midsole geometry helps to enhance in-shoe stability. With an R.Camber rocker shape, the shoes work to enhance propulsion by providing a "rocking-chair" effect, for natural, effective strides, propelling you forward on your race, providing you with an outstanding heel-to-toe transition. Working alongside this, the Carbon energyBLADE plate present through the midsole, in a wider heel platform, further enhances stability, and provides smooth heel-toe transitions when taking powerful strides. The outstanding midsole design helps to prevent the risks of injury or discomfort by absorbing the impact presented when striking down onto hard, unforgiving running surfaces, keeping your joints shielded and you focused on the race ahead.

Contagrip Outsole

Ensuring all-surface traction and grip on your race or running endeavours, the shoes utilise a Contagrip outsole, alongside a strategic lug pattern, the shoes provide you with excellent grip and traction on both wet and dry surfaces. This durable outsole will ensure that no matter what the conditions you will perform your best, for distraction-free running and a supportive experience.
