Salomon Speedcross 6 GORE-TEX Women's Trail Running Shoes

Experience trail-running excellence with the Speedcross 6 GORE-TEX. This iconic shoe now boasts enhanced grip, faster mud shedding, and superior wet-surface traction. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry in challenging conditions.

Anti-Debris Mesh Upper

Utilising a combination of anti-debris mesh and ripstop woven fabrics, the Speedcross 6 are a durable, long-lasting trail companion. The anti-debris mesh works to efficiently prevent dirt and debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed, keeping you comfortable on the trail. The tight mesh will also keep you cool by supplying your feet with an optimum level of airflow, so you're bound to feel fresh throughout your run. Made from a woven ripstop fabric, with additional reinforcements, the shoes have a durable structure to prevent tearing, ripping and abrasion on the trail, providing you with a long-lasting, reliable pair of shoes. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps you dry and cool from the inside and out, protecting you from the elements so you can run fearlessly. Utilising Salomon's Sensifit design, the shoes have a clever construction to provide a precise, optimal foothold and classic Speedcross comfort. Completing the uppers of the Speedcross 6 is a Quicklace closure, making it exceptionally easy to tighten or loosen the shoes, providing you with the iconic Salomon lace-up design. The materials within these shoes have been produced using recycled products such as PET bottles or material waste.

EnergyCell+ Midsole

Sticking to previous Speedcross versions, the 6th edition features an EnergyCell+ midsole. EnergyCell+ is a high-rebound midsole technology that delivers substantial cushioning and durability. This midsole compound provides superior cushioning, stability and motion control to provide an efficient, stable and responsive ride. EnergyCell+ works to provide exceptional energy return by absorbing shocks when the foot strikes the ground and using it to propel you forward in the next step, therefore helping to improve your foot's natural gait. Whilst superior cushioning is generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The shoes deliver a reduction in joint force to deliver a great balance of cushioning resiliency and a smooth ride.

Mud ContaGRIP Outsole

An updated outsole to their predecessors, the Speedcross 6 still has an ultra-grippy Mud ContaGRIP outsole, providing you with an unmatched level of grip and traction on varied terrain. This improved compound means the shoes will not only form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain but will also work to shed mud quickly. This is due to their large lugs, providing you with the perfect level of grip on all types of terrain, including wet and muddy conditions, thanks to their deep lugs, which dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will benefit you by acting as a solid base from which to push off when taking the next stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
