Salomon Ultra Glide 4 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Ease into the Ultra Glide 4 and feel the difference. The latest version of our most comfortable trail running shoe is now even lighter and more breathable, delivering a more dynamic, performance-enhancing ride and cooler feet in hot or humid conditions. With improved durability, you'll rack up the miles comfortably.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing maximum breathability, the upper of the Ultra Glide 4 is constructed with an engineered mesh for a comfortable wearing experience. The weave's structure varies throughout to offer more support and durability or flexibility and breathability, meeting your needs on various terrains. The breathable upper keeps you feeling ventilated and comfortable no matter what. Built-up heat is released while perforations encourage cool air to circulate, keeping feet cool and comfortable even when your run becomes challenging. The shoes include Salomon's endoFit, an internal fit sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a precise fit. As well as this, a padded collar and tongue have been added for comfort. This also allows for a more snug fit. Completing the upper is a quickLACE system that provides one-pull tightening for easy-on, easy-off, which helps lock down the midfoot to prevent in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free run.

optiFOAM Midsole

Built on a springy and comfortable midsole compound that delivers punch and pop while smoothing out your landings for a fluid ride, the Ultra Glide provides lightweight and responsive cushioning. OptiFOAM is a lightweight, springy and resilient foam compound that powers your stride forward. This lightweight, responsive delivers a maximum level of cushioning to ensure optimum in-shoe comfort and a responsive ride. Shock-absorbing properties prevent discomfort or injury by absorbing impact when striking tough surfaces.

All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole

Crafted with an All-Terrain Contagrip, the outsole perfectly balances geometry with rubber to deliver confident running on a wide range of surfaces. The outsoles' unique two-part lug pattern, along with a raised tread, offers an adaptable, secure grip, even on difficult terrains and sketchy situations. The deep lugs can anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you in place while forming a solid base to push off from. This has been paired with Salomon's Relieve Sphere. A distinctive, wavy geometry specifically designed to diffuse pressure and to break down repeated underfoot impact for enhanced, durable comfort. The combination of outsole technologies makes this shoe trustworthy on a wide variety of surfaces, making the Salomon Ultra Glide 4 the perfect long-lasting running companion for any trail.
