Adventure from dawn to dusk with S/LAB Ultra Glide 2 Limited Courtney, designed with help from legendary Courtney Dauwalter. Enjoy comfort, enhanced stability and responsive cushioning. Unique relieveSPHERE technology and a contaGRIP outsole design diffuses pressure, reducing fatigue. A new Matryx Micro upper enhances breathability and durability.
Constructed using a high-performance textile, the Matryx upper has been designed to resist abrasion, making it perfect for mixed terrain training. With individually coated high-tenacity Kevlar and technical yarn, the durable upper is lightweight and breathable to keep you cool, dry, and comfortable, while also protecting you from rocks and roots on the trails. A padded tongue sits close to the foot to increase comfort while preventing dirt and debris from entering. A Quicklace lacing system offers easy on/off with one-pull tightening. The lace is minimalistic for reduced bulk and strong for a secure fit. Additionally, it can be stored easily in the provided lace pocket to minimise the risk of distractions caused by movement or untying.
The dual-foam construction of the midsole delivers exceptional comfort, dynamism and stability. optiFOAM is a deeply cushioning EVA foam that absorbs shock as you strike down, protecting your joints and muscles from shock. This is combined with optiFOAM+, which is a highly responsive superfoam, delivering a super dynamic experience. It is made from a mix of PEBA and EVA, and it converts energy into rebound to propel you forward, helping you run further, faster, using less energy. This means you can keep going for longer and build up speed with minimal effort. The combination of the two foams cradles you like a cockpit seat, ensuring stability and confidence for fast downhills.
The outsole is crafted from an ultra-durable and robust All Terrain Contagrip rubber. It is built for the widest variety of surfaces. It delivers durability and confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces. The rubber forms a solid bond with the ground beneath for maximum adhesion, and resists damage for long-lasting enjoyment. The outsole features Relieve Sphere geometry - the distinctive, wavy pattern is specifically designed to diffuse pressure and to break down repeated underfoot impact for enhanced, durable comfort. 4mm lugs bite into the ground beneath, giving you confidence-inspiring traction.
