GORE-TEX Upper

Surrounding the upper of the shoe, there is a GORE-TEX membrane. By using this, the membrane is breathable, durable and blocks all water from entering the shoe and causing discomfort. Water that lands on the shoe is simply wicked away quickly and efficiently keeping it feeling lightweight, whilst moisture from within the shoe is also able to escape. Air is able to enter and exit the shoe easily, keeping you feeling fresh and ventilated during runs. With firmer material covering the toes, bumps and knocks will be absorbed instantly, protecting you from any damage on the trails. As well as this, the shoe is fitted with strong overlays. This is extremely important for stability and security as it will hold your foot in a solid and upright position. Up the foot laces with completed with a firm and padded tongue for a secure and comfortable fit. A heel loop makes carrying dirty shoes clean and easy to do.

Cushioned Midsole

The thick and responsive midsole is high performing, giving you the protection and comfort to last a long day on the trail. Towards the bottom, the EVA is firm and densely packed in, which means it is able to absorb impacts instantly. Sharp bumps from and other parts of the uneven ground won't be able to send the shock up to the sole of the foot. The higher up the midsole you go, the more cushioned the EVA becomes, which means that on every step taken, the landing will feel soft. Spring and rebound is also provided by the EVA, which will give you a boost in every single step that you take. Within the midsole there is a plate that when stretched gives you an extra spring. This will mean longer strides have a more efficient and reactive ride. Within the midsole, Saucony use their developed Heel GRID System. In high impact areas like the heel, the cushioning system not only absorbs heavy impacts, but it also dispersed the energy evenly, providing a smoother ride.

Durable Rubber Outsole

When you are running on a wide range of different surfaces you need versatile protection. The durable rubber outsole is able to form a strong connection with any surface for control. The tough rubber is strong and won't be damaged by any sharp abrasions caused by rocks or bumps. Multi-directional and deep lugs will dig into surfaces which will further anchor you to the ground, giving you a solid base to push off, assistance with braking, and allows you to make sharp changes of direction.
