<p>Surrounding the upper of the Cohesion 11 is a breathable mesh which will work to keep you feeling comfortable and ventilated. As you begin to exercise, the air within the shoes will build up. To stop this from causing any discomfort and overheating, the mesh will allow the air to escape out of it. This will then allow cooler air to enter. This will mean that you will feel cool and ventilated over a long period of time. Synthetic overlays on the upper will provide support and structure to the shoes. Thicker material covering the toes will protect them from any bumps or knocks that you might pick up when running. A secure lacing system will allow you to find the perfect fit, and a cushioned tongue will enhance comfort. </p>

<p>The thick and responsive Versafoam midsole provides long-lasting, high performing cushioning, giving you the protection and comfort to last a long day on the trail. Towards the bottom, the EVA is firm and densely packed in, which means it is able to absorb impacts instantly. Sharp bumps from and other parts of the uneven ground won't be able to send the shock up to the sole of the foot. The Versafoma cushioning offers a soft, cushioned landing with every step with spring and rebound providing a boost through every gait cycle. Within the midsole, Saucony uses their developed Heel GRID System. In high impact areas like the heel, the cushioning system not only absorbs heavy impacts, but it also dispersed the energy evenly, providing a smoother ride.</p>
