A fully synthetic, waterproof and lightweight hiking boot designed for kids who like adventures out of doors. The Scarpa Neutron Mid features a fully waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX and a sticky rubber sole, just like the adult version.

Synthetic Mesh Upper

Constructed using a synthetic mesh upper, the Scarpa Neutron Walking Boots ensure increased breathability and durability. The mesh actively and efficiently wicks away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture, leaving your child's feet cool and composed as they explore. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for their feet to thrive. The upper features protective film for extra protection and resistance to abrasion, debris or sharp objects that may be encountered on the trail. When the weather takes a turn for the worse, the Neutron allows your little one to continue their adventures thanks to its breathable GORE-TEX lining that ensures full waterproof protection. The padded tongue and heel sit comfortably against the skin, reducing friction and irritation such as chafing while the traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel.

EVA Midsole

The midsole of the Neutron Junior Walking Boots is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. EVA has been used within the midsole to increase underfoot comfort and cushioning. The compression moulded EVA has been used within the midsole to ensure lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, the EVA midsole provides an abundance of cushioning for all-day wear.

Vibram Integra Junior Outsole

Exceptional grip is provided by the Integra Junior outsole, which keeps their feet firmly planted on the path. The durable rubber is abrasion-resistant and is able to form a solid connection between the boot and ground across a wide range of volatile terrain. Deep lugs are able to dig into wet surfaces, which will make you feel a lot more stable and secure when pushing off on each step.
