The Ribelle Cross 2 GORE-TEX is the ideal light hiking shoe designed to provide a dynamic and versatile experience. The one-layer effect upper made of a mix of technical fabric and TPU combines lightweight and durability, and wraps around the midsole to provide stability on all terrains.

Mesh and TPU Film Upper

Providing exceptional levels of breathability, the upper of the Ribelle Cross 2 has been constructed using a technical mesh fabric with a one-layer effect to keep you cool, comfortable and light on the trails. The mesh enables cool air to circulate, whilst at the same time, removing unwanted warm air to help control temperature and create a perfect microclimate. Teamed with this lightweight, breathable fabric is a TPU film located in key areas to add increased durability. Utilising a GORE-TEX ePE membrane, the Ribelle Cross 2 supplies feet with waterproof protection when the weather takes a turn for the worse on your outdoor adventure. This high-tech performance membrane prevents water from entering to keep your feet dry without compromising breathability. The traditional lacing system provides a locked-in fit that prevents in-shoe slippage, and completing the upper is an ActivFit System, which provides an optimised feel with space for toes to splay and feet to relax without feeling cramped.

EVA Midsole

An EVA platform resides underfoot to provide you with lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA midsole ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, adding spring to your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

PRESA HIK-06 Outsole

A PRESA HIK-06 outsole completes the Ribelle Cross 2 GORE-TEX. Made using the perfect blend of durability and grip for on and off-road adventures, the outsole provides great traction on multiple terrains for use on all your adventures. This is achieved thanks to Scarpa's sole design, which has been made with 4 key areas: the propulsion area in the midfoot, the braking area in the heel, a maximum grip area along the toes, finished with a stability area through the midfoot, arch and heel. The multi-directional lugs provide the needed amount of grip, especially in wet conditions, providing a solid base to push off from. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, retaining its shape and definition despite its use on hard and rough surfaces.
