Breathable Mesh Upper
The extremely lightweight mesh upper will keep your feet feeling ventilated and fresh. As you begin to exercise, warm air will start to build up within the inside of the shoe. This air is able to escape through the material, which is then replaced by cooler air from the outside. This will mean that the feet will stay in a comfortable and cool climate, which will increase comfort. The sweat produced will also be able to exit the material, where it is then released away from the feet. Covering the toes, there is thicker material that will prevent injuries from occurring from bumps and knocks. Keeping the heel in a firm and upright position, the walls of the rearfoot are strong, which will prevent it from rolling or twisting out of position. Up the foot laces and a specially designed race specific tongue will make it easy to achieve a comfortable and streamlined fit. The no-sew composition of the upper will mean that the risk of irritation from rubbing and chafing within the shoe will be reduced.
eRide Midsole
Providing you with a smooth and plush ride, the eRide combines protection, cushioning and energy return. Towards the bottom, EVA is extremely firm, which will instantly absorb any shocks from below. After heavy shocks and impacts, the energy is returned as rebound and bounceback, which will give you an added spring in your step. Aerofoam infinity offers the durability and rebound of previous foams but with increased plush cushioning that protects rocky roads and discomfort underfoot for a smooth, comfortable ride. The body is kept protected from the rigours and fatigue of long runs without losing the efficiency of the eRide, working in tandem together for a smooth, energetic ride.
Flat Traction Outsole
Designed for pounding the pavements, the durable rubber outsole provides flat traction grip. The rubber used is extremely durable, which means that it will be able to retain all of its properties over a long course of time. The flat traction design provides a smooth ride with flat durable rubber gripping the road. A small amount of strategically orientated chevrons placed at the forefoot provide extra stability and grip when you need it.
