Set them up for all-day comfort with Skechers Microspec Velocity - Grid-Drift. This lightweight Skechers adaptive closure design features a mesh-and-synthetic overlay upper with an adjustable instep strap, fixed stretch laces, and a cushioned comfort insole.
Keeping your little one's feet cool and comfortable on their next running adventure is a breathable mesh construction. The mesh has perforations throughout that encourage cool air to circulate, while preventing the build-up of unwanted heat, keeping feet fresh and comfortable throughout wear. Alongside this, Skechers have added synthetic overlays in high-wear areas to enhance longevity and durability, meaning your child can run, skip and jump in complete confidence. The overlays also help protect your child's feet from knocks and scrapes when out running, reducing the risk of injury. Stretch laces with an adjustable instep strap complete the upper. The combination of the two offers a customisable and secure fit while making on/off easy. It keeps feet locked in and secure, helping to prevent in-shoe slipping during the more active periods of your kid's day.
Protecting feet when putting in the miles, the shoes feature an EVA midsole that provides a comfortable and energetic feel. Designed to cushion their landings and absorb shock, the midsole uses this energy and transfers it into rebound. This propels them into their next stride, while reducing fatigue, allowing them to run further and faster than ever before. By absorbing shocks and impact, the midsole reduces injury risk when striking tough, unforgiving surfaces, for long-haul comfort. Finally, the shoes also feature a cushioned comfort insole for even more underfoot cushioning.
A durable, Flexible Traction rubber adorns the outsole of the Microspec Velocity - Grid-Drift to provide your child with excellent grip on varied road running surfaces or park conditions. The grippy rubber ensures feet remain stable and secure on the surface below, keeping them confident when exploring the outdoors.
