The Skechers GoRun Maxroad 5 is an ultra-cushioned, neutral road running shoe designed with highly-resilient Hyper Burst cushioned pillars and Goodyear Performance Outsole.

Breathable Mesh and Synthetic Upper

Designed to provide you with breathable and lightweight comfort, the upper has been constructed using a combination of breathable mesh, and synthetic fabrics, curating the perfect conditions for your feet to thrive. The mesh materials have exceptional breathable properties, due to their ability to allow air to efficiently flow through the body of the shoe, therefore keeping your feet cool and comfortable. Additionally, the mesh will wick moisture from the surface of your skin, to then allow it to escape through the fabric. On the other hand, the synthetic materials are durable, and hardwearing, preventing damage to the feet and shoes. Completing the upper construction, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system, keeping the feet locked in and comfortable when wearing the shoes.

HYPER BURST Midsole

Using their innovative HYPER BURST midsole, the GoRun Maxroad 5's offer a highly responsive and ultra-lightweight running experience. This innovative, resilient foam is created using a 'Super Critical' process with spherically-shaped cells compressed into the midsole. The midsole will work to cushion each step, reducing impacts on joints like the knees and ankles to prevent fatigue and the risk of injuries. The technology will also absorb heavy impacts from below, preventing them from reaching the sole of the foot and causing damage. Not only this but, the shoes utilise a Carbon Infused H-Plate which provides an even more efficient transition from the midfoot to toe-off and a snappier, faster toe-off. Finally, Skechers M-Strike technology promotes additional efficiency with each stride and means the midsole configuration creates a smooth transition from landing to toe-off.

Goodyear Performance Outsole

Using a Goodyear Performance outsole, will guarantee complete control and traction on hard ground. The rubber is able to form a solid connection with a wide range of wet and dry surfaces, keeping you fully in control at all times. Able to stand up against abuse, the rubber is abrasion-resistant and will maintain its shape and definition over a long period of time. A specific design on the outsole will provide a targeted grip to further anchor you in place, making take-offs and landings feel more controlled. Forefoot flex grooves will improve the flexibility of the shoe, allowing you to take longer strides without risk of damage.
