Lightweight GORE-TEX paclite jacket offering perfect wet weather protection.

Engineered with GORE-TEX Paclite technology the durably waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable fabric moves with you for the unrestricted movement and ultimate protection. The GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to the outer shell material and covered by a protective layer making this garment extremely lightweight and packable, as well as completely waterproof and windproof. Breathability is not compromised for protection as the GORE-TEX membrane allows excess water vapour to escape through the membrane without letting water molecules in ensuring you are kept cool and comfortable, as well as dry. A grown on adjustable hood with a wired peak provides adjustable coverage and added weather protection whilst an adjustable cuff and hem helps to ensure an optimum fit. A front zip exists for complete temperature control, in colder climates, it can be worn up to seal in heat or when temperatures begin to rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build up. Completing the Hergen Jacket are two zipped hand pockets which provide ample storage for all your essential items.

Founded in 1974 by two outdoor enthusiasts in Manchester, England the brand quickly became one of Britain's leading outdoor clothing companies. From humble beginnings out of a garage in Chorlton, Manchester; to kitting out arctic explorers and National Park rangers. John Hunt and Simon Wright initially began making sailing clothing as a natural extension of their passion for competitive dinghy sailing. They were also keen mountaineers and recognised a lack of solid, durable and waterproof climbing clothing at the time. Driven on by the famous Manchester climate surrounding them, the two began manufacturing coated waterproof jackets. By 1982 the brand had launched its first GORE-TEX jacket, the Snipe and in 1983 became the first company to machine tape non-GORE-TEX waterproof clothing, named the Hydro-dry range. Hydro-dry remains an integral technology to this day.

Now in its 40th year, the SPRAYWAY brand continues to use innovative fabrics across a wide range of products and continues to produce garments which utilise cutting edge technology whilst remaining true to their Mancunian roots.
