Sprayway Mezen HydroDRY Jacket

When the weather takes a turn for the worse, ensure that it won't affect your comfort or mood with the Sprayway Mezen HydroDRY Jacket.

The Mezen jacket uses Hydro/Dry, a technology developed by Sprayway with high-functionality and ultimately supreme comfort. Water is blocked from entering the jacket and coming into contact with the skin. This will ensure that you stay warm and comfortable, as there is no moisture left in the jacket which would drastically reduce your body warmth. In addition to this, the fabric will block wind from penetrating the fabric, which will make sure that the wind chill won't cause your core temperature to drop. Despite blocking the wind out, air is still able to pass through the jacket to replace stuffy warmer air within the jacket. This will make sure that you will retain heat, whilst not causing you to overheat. Inside, there is a combination of Mesh and Taffeta. This will improve comfort due to the soft and smooth nature of the materials, sitting gently on the skin. As well as this, there are flat-lying seams, which reduces the chance of irritation from rubbing and chafing from occurring. The hem has an elasticated and adjustable drawcord, which can be easily adjusted to block out the wind or to leave a looser feel around the waist. The hood can easily be adjusted to provide full coverage over the head with a wired peak to ensure full protection and a rollaway feature for an easy and quick removal of the hood. A full-zip all the way down the front is protected by a double storm flap that sits over it, which further increases the windproof protection of the jacket. The cuffs are easily adjusted with a velcro strap. This means that you can quickly prevent cold air from entering the sleeves by tightening the wrists, or should you get too warm, you can loosen them to allow air in. Two-zipped hand pockets can be used to store small items or to warm your hands up. In addition to this, there is also an inner pocket with a hook and loop, where you can store items with a little bit more security.

About SPRAYWAY

Founded in 1974 by two outdoor enthusiasts in Manchester, England the brand quickly became one of Britain's leading outdoor clothing companies. Sprayway has been keeping the British public warm, dry and comfortable in all conditions ever since. From humble beginnings out of a garage in Chorlton, Manchester; to kitting out arctic explorers and National Park rangers. Sprayway has been keeping the British public warm, dry and comfortable since 1974.

John Hunt and Simon Wright initially began making sailing clothing as a natural extension of their passion for competitive dinghy sailing. They were also keen mountaineers and recognised a lack of solid, durable and waterproof climbing clothing at the time. Driven on by the famous Manchester climate surrounding them, the two began manufacturing coated waterproof jackets. By 1982 the brand had launched its first GORE-TEX jacket, the Snipe and in 1983 became the first company to machine tape non-GORE-TEX waterproof clothing, named the Hydro-dry range. Hydro-dry remains an integral technology to this day.

Now in its 40th year, the SPRAYWAY brand continues to use innovative fabrics across a wide range of products and continues to produce garments which utilise cutting edge technology whilst remaining true to their Mancunian roots.
