Waterproof Suede Leather and Textile Upper
Featuring a mix of suede leather and textile materials, the upper of the Buxton Lace shields your feet from injury when traversing unpredictable terrains. With waterproofing qualities, the material also expertly blocks rain and cold weather on stormy winter days for dry feet over prolonged periods. With a seam sealed waterproof construction, a textile lining and 200g of thermal insulation ensure the wear is dry, warm and soft against the foot. Finally, traditional laces have been used to ensure secure midfoot lockdown.
Bonded Felt Frost Plug Midsole
For enhanced warming and comfort, a 2.5mm bonded felt frost plug has been utilised within the midsole, providing a thin layer of compressed felt to create a thermal barrier against the cold surfaces below. The felt also provides cushioning underfoot for improved comfort while walking over uneven terrain. On top of the midsole is a removeable EVA footbed, increasing the amount of cushioning underfoot for improved comfort. The footbed has a textile topper, improving moisture management and adding an element of breathability for fresh feeling feet all wear long.
Injection-Moulded Rubber Outsole
Offering durable grip, the outsole of the Buxton Lace has been created with injection-moulded rubber. The moulded process ensures the waterproofing elements work correctly, minimising the chances of water seeping in. The thermal-rubber compound, ensures the outsole maintains its flexibility when temperatures drop, preventing unwanted breakage in the shoe.
