Battery Life and Watch Face

The Suunto Run 2 is lighter than ever, weighing in at only 35g (watch body). The watch offers 13 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 30 hours in performance mode using all systems and GNSS with Single Band, or 24 hours using Dual Band. The battery can be charged once a week, so you can keep it on through the night for more accurate health data and a more tailored training plan. The watch has an updated 1.32-inch AMOLED touch screen lens that is three times brighter and clearer, making it easier to view in darker or bright conditions. The side buttons and dial help you navigate the features with ease, while the touch screen display makes it even easier to select a training session or map. Meanwhile, a lightweight stainless steel bezel is teamed with a Gorilla Glass lens for exceptional durability.

GPS Features

The watch's GPS has been upgraded to Dual Band L1 and L5 positioning across GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and BEIDOU. The upgraded all-constellation GNSS system records distance, pace and the route you've run more accurately than ever. Wrist-Based Heart Rate

The Suunto Run 2 now has a 12-channel sensor behind 2.5D curved glass that gathers more signal at the wrist; this allows it to track your heart rate during hard intervals, surges and those longer efforts in the heat. The heart rate sensor uses the data to advise you on calories burned and how intense your efforts have been that day, and to calculate a stress score that helps you assess what level of activity your body is ready for.

Real Time Insight

The watch features EnergySense Technology, which reads how hard you are working in the moment against how much you still have, live on the wrist. Deep into a long run or the back half of a race, it provides the information to help you decide whether to hold, ease off or pick up the pace is the correct decision based on information rather than on feel alone. Suunto introduced Marathon Time, which turns your current running times into a finishing time. Updating regularly throughout the race, the watch monitors pace changes and whether the goal time is slipping away, helping you adjust your running speed to stay on track.

Full Training Cycle

With the full training cycle, you can set targets, helping you build for your next marathon or race day. You provide the information; the watch provides the training plan. Set a target such as a sub-4 marathon, and the watch will tailor your next easy run, interval session, and long run to assist with your goal. Open the plan, and today's session is already decided, with the reason behind it visible. If you want to run without a session plan, you can set a target time, distance, or pace before you start; the watch then provides an even and consistent pace for a comfortable run. Suunto's Training Zone brings training load, HRV, sleep and recovery together so fitness, fatigue, and current form read as one picture, making it easier to see when you need to train hard or take a bit longer to recover. When racing or training, you'll have your own personal pacer with the Ghost Runner, a virtual pacer on the watch, showing whether you are ahead of or behind your target pace. It keeps your race under control for the distance rather than a single split. With the training cycle system, you can run against a previous race or route you or someone else has done to compare how far you have come or help set a new goal.

Download free worldwide maps to Suunto Run 2 before you head out on your next running adventure. Whether you are on a travel run or an unfamiliar route, roads, place names, and your surroundings stay on your wrist. This feature allows you to focus on the run ahead, so the next move is a glance away rather than a stop and a phone. The same maps carry onto trail sections when the road runs out.

Music Compatibility

With 64GB of storage, the watch can store your favourite songs and podcasts, even when offline, enabling you to carry on pushing to the beat. It's easy to transfer music from your computer and then queue up your favourite playlist for easy listening through Bluetooth headphones.
