Kevlar and MATRYX High Tenacity Yarn Upper

This upper is designed for maximum durability so you can hit the trail no matter how technical. The Kevlar provides an ultra-robust yet breathable material that can withstand rocks, debris and all the abuse of the trail. This is combined with MATRYX high-tenacity polyamide yarns for support and abrasion resistance. TPU reinforcements and a moulded toe cap provide protection, and a no-slip moulded heel cup and reinforced heel counter lock down your foot for a precise feel. The padded tongue features integrated wings to help reduce movement and provide a secure foothold, complemented by the traditional lacing system to ensure a secure fit. A heel loop helps make on/off easy, and reflective detailing ensures visibility in low light.

High Rebound EVA Midsole

The midsole has been constructed from a soft, lightweight and responsive EVA that is tuned for trail running and multisport adventures in the mountains. It attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints from impact, and then converts this energy into rebound. This propels you into your next step, helping you run further, faster, using less energy. With a 28mm stack height, it offers a plush underfoot feel, and the 6mm drop helps you move through the gait cycle.

Surface CTRL Outsole

The trail running shoes utilise a Surface CTRL outsole, which is a bio-based outsole rubber that helps to provide you with high levels of traction and grip on a variety of terrains, including wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on a mixture of grounds, but it also provides feet with multi-directional traction. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails yet and flexible enough to adapt to different terrain, for complete control. It is made using 20% rubber from smallholder farmers committed to agroforestry principles and regenerative agriculture practices, ensuring you get a shoe that is not only fast and grippy but eco-conscious too. 5mm lugs bite into the ground for aggressive grip and traction on soft, muddy surfaces, and the outsole wraps up the forefoot, providing greater protection.
