The North Face Himalayan Down Parka
From protecting alpinists and adventurers to warming the backs of urban explorers and city commuters, the Himalayan Down Parka has bulky, oversized retro looks with plenty of here-and-now tech. It's made with an original Nylon ripstop fabrication with wind-blocking technology and packs 550-fill of responsibly sourced down to provide insulating warmth.
Constructed using WindWall fabrics, the Himalayan Down Parka has been engineered to reduce the effects of wind chill whilst maintaining a good level of breathability. This windproof technology blocks wind from penetrating the parka, reducing the effects of wind chill and allowing fresh air to still pass through to regulate body temperature. Teamed with this, a DWR finish sheds light rain to keep you feeling dry throughout wear. Lofty down insulation provides exceptional warmth in cold conditions. This 550-fill goose down is ethically sourced, responsibly produced and traceable with a high warmth-to-weight ratio. An attached, adjustable, three-piece hood with a drawcord and cord locks offers additional coverage when needed, and a storm flap with hook-and-loop closure covers the centre front zip for extra warmth and protection from moisture and wind. Multiple pockets, including a secure-zip internal chest pocket and top-entry, secure-zip patch hand pockets, provide safe storage for essentials. Adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs and a drawcord at the hem allow you to alter the fit of the parka to suit your needs. Lastly, The North Face logos on the left chest and back-right shoulder add a stylish finish to the Himalayan Down Parka.
