Design using a 3L DryVent, the Whiton jacket has you protected when the weather decides to take a turn for the worse. Designed to be waterproof, breathable and windproof to keep you dry and comfortable in challenging conditions. The waterproof membrane works to stop water from entering the jacket, whilst still allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable inside and out. Increasing weather protection, the jacket features an adjustable hood with a wire brim, preventing the rain from getting into your eyes and giving extra coverage and warmth on those colder days. The North Face has used a full zip that enables you to control airflow in and out of the jacket for optimum temperature control and also assists in taking the jacket on and off. Pit zips allow you to release unwanted heat when on the move, while Velcro tabs on the cuffs provide you with a closer fit, perfect for when the temperatures drop. Two zippered hand pockets provide optimal space to store your essential items or can be used as a refuge for your hands when the temperature drops. Completing the jacket is an adjustable hem with a shock cord, which allows you to alter the fit of the jacket to a more personal one.
