The North Face Tente Jacket
You can push harder for longer without having to take off the Tente. That's because it's made with FUTURELIGHT - a customisable breathable-waterproof fabric. It's engineered using nano-spinning technology that adds air permeability to a waterproof membrane for the first time. On top of this, it's made from recycled nylon and impregnated with a non-PFC durable water repellent, so it has excellent sustainability credentials, too.
The Tente Jacket is the ideal three-layer shell for pace mountain hikes and hut-to-hut treks in shifting weather - you won't have to keep layering up or down. It provides breathable windproof and waterproof protection, providing an impenetrable moisture barrier for guaranteed dryness while allowing cool air to permeate and hot air to escape, preventing an intolerable build up of heat, regulating body temperature and keeping you comfortable. In a standard fit, the Tente jacket allows maximum freedom of movement, as your clothing choice should never inhibit your performance. It's fully seam-sealed, and has an adjustable hood and cuffs to help keep the elements out. If you use your phone for pictures or its GPS, then the secure phone pocket will come in handy. Water can't get in, even if you leave the pocket unzipped. Zipped hand pockets also come in handy for other small personal items, or as a refuge for chilly hands.
