The Phantom 38 carries a lot without weighing you down (it's less than a kilo) thanks to the ultra-light but reliably durable Spectra ripstop fabrication. The semi-translucent fabric allows you to see your gear more easily from the outside of the pack. The backpack has a foam back panel made from durable, soft Teksever fabric, reducing weight and water and snow absorption. Foam shoulder straps have been included to increase comfort, perfect for longer trips. Although the top lid has been removed to reduce weight, the flip-top still has a small, zipped pocket for stashing your essentials and a cord for cinching or securing a rope. The side compression straps carry skis or a split board, and the reinforced hip belt prevents uncomfortable load-bearing. A tool-carrying system provides better cover for sharp and pointy gear, and thanks to internally routed compression cords, the pack sits nicely and is streamlined, reducing snag points. The backpack uses 360-degree reflectivity to ensure you'll be caught in your climbing partner's headlight during pre-dawn starts.
