Topo MTN Racer 4 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper of the Topo MTN Racer 4 is crafted from an engineered mesh, making this shoe lightweight and highly durable. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow while built-up heat can escape, providing a cool and dry climate for feet, leaving you comfortable and distraction-free. The shoe's anatomical toe box allows toes to spread, providing a more comfortable and natural feel while increasing stability as you move. The shoes feature a gaiter system, Velcro tabs and a D-ring on the bottom of the laces, allowing you to attach a gaiter for added protection against trail debris entering your shoes. The shoes include a toe bumper to deflect knocks and scrapes, keeping toes safe while increasing the shoes' durability. The upper becomes narrower in the midfoot and heel to provide a locked-in feel, which is teamed with a traditional lacing system for a personalised and secure fit. Completing the upper is a padded tongue that reduces pressure points on the top of the foot while increasing overall comfort.

Zip Foam Midsole

The MTN Racer 4 features a full-length Zip foam midsole to offer a cushioned and responsive ride. Zip foam is Topo's proprietary midsole compound, which is springier than EVA, offering more rebound than standard foam. The foam is lightweight, soft underfoot and highly responsive. This keeps you light on your feet and energised, propelling you into your next step, so you can pick up the pace and run for longer. The foam offers shock-absorbing properties to prevent discomfort and the risk of injury by absorbing the impact when striking down on tough terrain. Topo has included an FKT insole for enhanced underfoot comfort. This is a closed-cell beaded foam that keeps water out, allowing shoes to drain quickly in wet conditions.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Completing the shoes is a Vibram Megagrip outsole, Vibram's lightest compound ever. The rubber compound ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber forms a solid bond with the ground beneath, ensuring traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path.
