The Chamonix Mitt from Trekmates has been constructed using GORE-TEX fabric to keep your hands dry and protected as you take on the outdoors. The GORE-TEX material works tirelessly to prevent the water from getting inside the mitt, reducing the risk of discomfort or damaging the material of the mitt. Working alongside the GORE-TEX material is GORE-ACTIVE technology, delivering weather protection, balanced heat transfer and comfort. Your hands stay warmer when it's cold, and drier when you perspire. This is made possible through the whole system of the inner lining, membrane and outer material is optimised for enhanced breathability, increasing comfort in a wider range of temperatures and activity levels.
An elasticated wrist enables the mitt to sit comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation such as chafing. The fit of the mitt can also be adjusted to meet individual requirements whilst a clip fastening system allows you to attach the mitts together when not in use. A tough PU leather palm adds grip and abrasion resistance. Lastly, the mitt offers touch screen compatibility, meaning you can have full use of your smartphone or device without having to take the mitt off and suffer the cold.
