Engineered Knit Upper

The extremely lightweight and breathable knit material that covers the upper helps to keep the overall weight of the shoe down to a minimum. This will allow you to make explosive movements with less hindrance and weight to hold you back. Strategically positioned perforations will enhance the shoe's breathability, allowing hot air and sweat that builds up within the shoe to escape easily. In return, this is replaced by cooler air from outside, which will help to maintain the temperature of the feet. Thicker material covers the toes, which will prevent injuries from occurring through shocks and excessive force pressed on the forefoot. Similarly, the heel has thick walls surrounding, which will keep the rearfoot in a firm and upright position. A 3D shank wraps around the side of the shoe, which will provide a flexible platform as well as increasing lateral stability. A synthetic overlay surrounding the shoe provides durability. The laces run all the way up the feet, meaning that tightening the shoe to a secure and comfortable fit is easy to achieve. A soft and padded tongue and ankle collar allow you to slip in and out of the shoes easily, whilst the risk of rubbing and chafing is decreased.

Shock Absorbing Midsole

Within the midsole, the shoe has compressed and moulded EVA which will both protect and cushion the sole of the foot. At the bottom, the EVA is able to absorb heavy shocks from the court, protecting the feet, and the energy produced is also returned as rebound. This will give you an added spring in your step. The higher up the midsole, the EVA is softer and therefore more cushioned. This will mean that every time you step, run or jump you will have a soft landing. Within the shoe, there is an EVA sockliner. This will further increase cushioning and support to the feet. On the heel, Under Armour have used their Micro G heel. This will strengthen the heel area when heavy contacts are made with the floor, as well as adding more cushioning.

Durable Rubber Outsole

The rubber outsole will ensure that you stay in control of your game. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, and it will be able to stand up to abuse from heavy contact and wear. As well as this, the rubber will form a strong bound with the court surface, reducing the chance of you slipping and losing your footing. Using a herringbone traction pattern, this outsole pattern will give you maximum floor control and grip. This will give you more control in takeoffs, landing and sudden changes of direction.
