The shoe that wins marathons. Designed with input from the world's fastest endurance runners, the Velociti Elite 3 features a full-length carbon plate that adds propulsion. A supercritical midsole provides a light and smooth ride. It is built for one purpose-to win on race day.
Designed to provide a comfortable and dynamic fit, the Velociti Elite 3 has been constructed using a Leno Weave stretch upper. The mesh allows cool air to flow, while at the same time removing unwanted warm air to help control temperature and create a microclimate where feet can thrive. The soft, padded heel collar sits close to the ankle for a locked-in feel and increased comfort, while the minimal tongue prevents irritation caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
Engineered using HOVR+ technology, the midsole of the Velociti Elite 3 delivers exceptional cushioning and energy return. The foam is strong, resilient, and offers incredible shock attenuation for every foot strike. It yields a ride that allows runners to perform better with less fatigue, propelling them forward. The midsole also helps to spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, reducing your use of superfluous muscle power to keep your legs feeling fresh to power on ahead. A full-length carbon fibre plate also features in the midsole to minimise energy loss during the gait cycle without increasing demand on the calf. It springs up under your heel as you stride forward, providing a snappy, propulsive sensation that converts into extra-energised strides. The plate is curved at the front, enhancing energy return and smoother transitions.
Designed to provide exceptional traction over long distances, the Velociti Elite 3 has been crafted using a durable rubber outsole. The rubber is extremely abrasion-resistant to ensure a long-lasting grip on road surfaces. This will also protect the shoe and increase durability over a long course of time, helping to enhance longevity. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground below. This will keep you in complete control of your run, with a smooth and stable ride.
