Breathable Mesh Upper

Wrapping young feet with breathable comfort, the Surge 5 has been created using a breathable mesh upper. The perforations throughout the upper encourage cool air to flow. By providing a constant supply of cool air while removing heat build-up, the shoes prevent overheating for a comfortable wearing experience. Synthetic overlays feature to add structure and support, keeping feet secure and in place while enhancing protection. A soft collar and tongue enhance the fit and improve overall comfort. Plush cushioning around the ankle improves support and locks in the foot, teaming with the traditional lacing system that locks in the midfoot for reduced in-shoe movement, allowing your child to run distraction-free.

Charged+ Midsole

For responsive strides and all-day comfort, Under Armour utilises their Charged+ midsole foam. This technology ensures your child is comfortable during training, allowing them to push harder. The foam is lighter and softer than the previous Charged foam, keeping feet comfortable from the first mile to the last. Protecting feet and joints, the foam absorbs shocks when striking hard, unforgiving surfaces, preventing injury and discomfort when under immense pressure. Durable Rubber Podular Outsole

The outsole of the Surge 5 Juniors utilises durable rubber pods on the outsole. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, ensuring a long-lasting grip on road surfaces. This will also protect the shoe and increase durability over long periods of use, enhancing longevity. The rubber forms a solid bond with the ground below for a smooth and stable ride.
