The V-Trail 2.0 is the latest trail running option from Vibram Fivefingers and has been specifically designed for the great outdoors and tough terrains.
Synthetic Upper
The upper of the V-Trail 2.0 has been constructed using a synthetic material to provide optimal comfort and breathability as you run. The synthetic material ensures efficient moisture management by wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture, leaving your feet cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, the upper boasts resilience and protection by containing extra resistant polyester fabric sections for a secure fit. Extra laminations are located around the toe sections for additional protection and durability, ideal for running on difficult, unpredictable terrain whereby debris and objects are highly prominent. When it comes to fastening the V-Trail 2.0, a simple speed lace system is in place to provide you with the optimum fit which can be easily changed to either tighten or loosen the fit, meeting individual requirements.
The V-Trail 2.0 is more water repellent than the previous model, meaning you can run more comfortably in wet conditions, or when encountering puddles or patches of water en route. Also situated within the upper is an anti-microbial Poly fabric sock liner which sits comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation such as chafing. Finally, a 2mm insole is inside the shoe for an additional source of cushioning and comfort.
Vibram MegaGrip Outsole
The outsole offers stability and support to help you obtain maximum grip and traction to further enhance performance, as well as reducing the amount of wear and tear placed on your joints. Vibram 3D Cocoon technology moulded into the sole provides rock-stopping protection, now extended further into the ball area while the multi-directional lug design provides grip all over. The use of MegaGrip compound allows unrivalled grip on wet and dry surfaces which is advantageous to trail running as the weather will not dictate or hinder performance.
