Breathable Recycled PET Mesh Upper

Lightweight and lean, the VivoBarefoot Primus Trail offers a less shoe, less weight experience for enhanced speed and freedom to move. Following the natural shape of the foot, the recycled PET mesh upper encourages natural human movement flexing with the foot for as little interference as possible. Highly breathable, the synthetic multi-ply encourages cool air to permeate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up for regulated internal temperature, whilst offering a constant ventilation supply to eradicate dampness. The moisture-wicking mesh moves sweat and moisture away from the skin effectively moving it the surface of the fabric for quick evaporation for cool comfort and minimal wet weight. The mesh, lining, and laces are constructed using recycled plastic waste from the oceans; the Primus Trail boasts sustainability and animal free products and processes as VivoBarefoot work towards protecting the environments that you love to explore. Quick drain zones adorn the upper, channelling water out of the shoe for quick-draining and faster dry time, the Primus Trail ensures minimal wet weight for maximum speed. A neoprene ankle sock offers a snug, supportive fit ensuring the full ankle has unrestrained mobility when in and out of water and over tricky terrain, whilst keeping out the grit and debris of the trail. A mountain lace with toggle provides a quick, hassle-free lace-up system providing a secure, non-slip adherence keeping you locked in all run.

Removable Performance Insole

A 3mm removable performance insole allows you to customise the fit of your Primus Trail . The breathable insole allows cool air to permeate keeping you cool and comfortable, whilst providing that little extra comfort and warmth on chillier days out on the trial. The insole can be removed allowing you to feel the ground for a responsive run.

Soft Ground Outsole

Designed specifically for soft, wet, and muddy surfaces, the sticky rubber, soft ground outsole offers unprecedented grip on tricky, wet terrains. The aggressive lug design is engineered to avoid clogging providing maximum grip at all times, whilst tooth-like side lugs enhance traction. A patented, ultra-thin, puncture resistant layer resides within the sole providing 5x more puncture resistance of a standard sole of the same thickness offering enhanced protection without compromising the minimum weight or barefoot experience.
