Durable and Breathable Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Spark Trail Running Shoes promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. The overlays that surround the foot provide protection from possible snags and bumps along unpredictable trails, while also increasing the overall durability of the shoe by preventing tears. A traditional lacing system has been used to effectively lock the midfoot into place, this is complimented by VJ's Fitlock technology which is situated on the midfoot section of the shoe and stretches from the arch to the laces, tightening within the shoe as you lace up for complete midfoot lockdown and support. Finally, VJ utilise a flat-laying tongue in this design, this effectively blocks dirt and debris from entering the shoe by laying flat against the foot, this also minimises irritation from rubbing fabrics.

Foam Midsole

The Spark features a properly cushioned midsole that provides you with the perfect amount of cushioning to soften your strides and enhance energy for bouncy, comfortable movement. When covering hard and unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury.

Superior Contact Outsole

Made with VJ's Butyl rubber, the Superior Contact Outsole ensures enhanced grip and traction over rough and changing terrains. Shoe Fit Scale

FITS NARROW - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - FITS WIDE

VJ have graded the fit on all their shoes from 1 to 5 to help you find the perfect fitting shoe. Grade 1 represents their most precise and narrow fit. On the other end of the scale grade, 5 has the widest fit. The lower number on the scale, the narrower the fit ensures minimal movement of the foot which is essential when running fast on technical terrain. The shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit people with wider feet and those who want extra comfort. Wider fit is usually preferred on longer runs and races because feet tend to swell during longer distances.
