The upper of the Zamblerlan 491 Trackmaster Walking Boots are constructed with an Italian perwanger split leather upper which boosts breathable, scratch resistant and water-resistant properties. The special fibre of perwanger leather ensures that even the sharper rocks do not leave deep signs on your new shoes, while the superior waterproof characteristics keep your feet dry even in the most extreme conditions. The single-piece upper construction with hydrobloc treated leathers allows for more reliable performance over the life of the boot given less stitching and opportunity for snagging on debris. Don't worry if you get caught out in the rain as the 491 Trackmasters are engineered with GORE-TEX performance comfort technology which is designed for outdoor use in moderate weather conditions. By combining durable waterproofness and optimised breathability, the water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside. A soft fabric collar promotes step-in comfort while the microtex lining inside of the collar helps to wick moisture and also prevents abrasion to the ankles and achilles. A rubber rand is located across the toes to protect you against sharp rocks and loose debris and lastly, finishing of the upper is the side hooks which ensures a more secure and tight fit.

An EVA midsole is used which offers lightweight, underfoot cushioning, while the EVA wedge ensures maximum comfort and flexibility. The midsole utilises various Zamberlan technologies to boost the boots performance properties. Firstly equipped with Zamberlan air system (ZAS) which promotes a special construction and design method, combined with the best components to maximise comfort and breathability, keeping feet feeling cool and dry during walks. Additionally, the Zamberlan comfort support system uses different types of shock-absorbing materials to promote all-day comfort and stabilising effects.

The 491 Trackmaster is designed with the Zamberlan exclusive vibram starlite sole which provides the best possible grip, even on the wet rocks and slimy roots you'll encounter on the trail.
