Up until recently, Altra was still known for its zero drop offering, amongst other unique selling points such as it's FootShape™ (put simply, a wide toe box that allows your feet to splay naturally), but Altra have since introduced a 4mm heel-to-toe drop option that provides both the FootShape™ but also delivers on appealing to those more at risk of an injury in a zero drop option shoe.

An Upper Overhaul

The upper has been redesigned with sandwiched mesh for comfort and durability and features Altra's Standard FootShape™ Fit. This means that the Experience Flow 2 provides the "middle" option of toe space compared to the Original, which is the roomiest of all three options, and the Slim which is the narrowest option.

A game changing midsole

Compared to its predecessor, the Experience Flow 2 now features a new softer and bouncier EGO P35 midsole foam which for those after the real technological depth means that it blends 35 percent bouncy polyolefin elastomer with Altra’s EGO MAX compound.

The result? More energy return for when the pace picks up and a go-to option for versatility of daily training.
