THE TECHNOLOGY

Boasting 28 years of evolution, this latest iteration brings substantial physical changes, offering a lighter build, responsive yet well-cushioned foam, and innovative technologies that redefine stability in running shoes.

The GT-2000 12 showcases a departure from its predecessors, with a design that reflects a commitment to both stability and performance. Weighing less than previous models, the shoe features a full-length midsole of FlyteFoam Blast Plus, elevating the stack height to 36mm in the heel and 28mm in the forefoot—a notable increase of 13mm from the prior version. Additional cushioning is also offered through the incorporation of the PureGEL Technology, a feature found in acclaimed ASICS models like NIMBUS, CUMULUS, and KAYANO.
