The Ghost 17 features an upgraded double jacquard engineered Air Mesh upper, which not only enhances breathability but also adds targeted structure to key areas of the foot. This construction allows for better foot lockdown while accommodating a range of foot shapes, providing a snug yet flexible fit. Additionally, the kickback collar offers improved ankle support and comfort, reducing the likelihood of irritation or slippage during longer runs. DNA LOFT V3 Midsole

At the heart of the Ghost 17’s comfort is Brooks’ premium nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. First introduced in the Ghost 16, this upgraded foam technology delivers a soft yet responsive ride that doesn’t sacrifice durability. In the Ghost 17, runners will benefit from increased foam volume—with an extra 1mm in the heel and 3mm in the forefoot—offering improved impact absorption and a more balanced feel across the gait cycle.
