Peak plushness for tenacious trail efforts

More commonly associated with lower stack heights from the Mafate range, the Mafate X has certainly taken a plush-first approach featuring a stack height of 49mm, making it a much closer resemblance to that of the HOKA Skyward X and taking its place as a versatile ultra-distance option for the trails.

Ultra-distance breathability

The Mafate X features an ultralight woven upper that allows for easy drainage and breathability for increased comfort on longer haul and multi-day adventures. A Vibram® Megagrip outsole with pod-like cutouts ensures a smooth ride over varied off-road terrain.

"Super" Technology

The Hoka Mafate X quite noticeably trends towards a new direction for the Mafate series with the Mafate X featuring a dual-density, premium foam chassis which compared to its Mafate counterparts, now has the PEBA foam top layer treatment and a pop of propulsion thanks to a forked carbon fibre plate and bottom coverage of supercritical EVA.
